What is a “Canvas Print Wrap”

A “Canvas Print Wrap” refers to a specific style of canvas print where an image or artwork is printed onto canvas material and
then stretched and wrapped around a wooden frame, often called a stretcher bar or stretcher frame. This method creates
a three-dimensional gallery wrapped canvas that is ready for display without the need for an additional frame. The image
extends around the sides of the wooden frame, giving it a seamless and finished appearance. Canvas print wraps are
popular for displaying artwork and photographs, as they provide a contemporary and clean presentation, and the image
appears to continue around the edges of the frame, making it suitable for hanging directly on the wall without the need for
additional framing

The wrap’ specifically refers to the cames sides, in this case how you want the image to be displayed over the sides

Wrap Options

• Gallery Wrap
• Mirror Whap
• Colour Wrap

We’ll explain what they are below:

Gallery Wrap

A Gallery Wrap” for a canvas print is a specific style of canvas presentation where an image or artwork is printed onto can
material and then stretched and wrapped around a wooden frame, often called a stretcher bar or stretcher frame in a
gallery wrap the canvas is stretched tightly over the frame, and the image continues around the sides of the frame
creating a three-dimensional and seamless appearance.

The key feature of a gallery wrap is that the image or artwork extends onto the sides of the canvas, allowing it to be displayed
without the need for an additional frame. This style is commonly used in galleries and exhibitions, hence the name “gallery
wrap it provides a modern and clean presentation that allows the artwork to be hung directly on the wall emphasizing the
images continuity from the front to the sides.

Gallery wraps are a popular choice for displaying canvas prints because they create a contemporary and professional look
making the artwork or photograph the focal point of the room without the distraction of a traditional frame.

The downt of the gallery wrap option, is that part of the image is lost over the edges of the image, specifically, it for
example, the photo has detail close to the edges of the canvas.

Mirror Wrap

This is our preference and what we recommend from most orders. It is the default selected option.

A “Mirror Wrap for a canvas print is a specific style of wrapping and finishing the edges of a canvas print, in a minor wrap
the outer edges of the image on the front of the canvas are duplicated and reflected (minsored) along the sides of the
canvas. This means that a portion of the image on the front of the canvas is extended onto the sides, creating a minored
border that sounds the central image.

Mirror wraps are designed to ensure that no part of the original image is lost when the canvas is stretched and wrapped
around the wooden frame, while also providing a finished and aesthetically pleasing look to the sides of the canvas.

This style is especially popular for canvas prints that have important elements near the edges of the image, as it preserves
those eements without cropping or losing them during the wrapping process it also provides a clean and polished
appearance when the canvas print is displayed without an additional frame.

The choice between a minor wrap, gallery wrap, or other finishing styles often depends on the specific artwork or
photograph and the desired aesthetic effect.

Colour Wrap

This option works best for artworks with plain colour backgrounds. We provide three sub-options.

Option 1 Use the predominant colour on the art, for example, if you selected a colour from our plain colour options, then we
will use this colour for the size. In the case of a photo, if the primary colour of the canvas is a blue sky, then we will use this blue
colour for the sides.

Option 2 Pick from the colour picker, this option is very straightforward Are you can simply select the colour you would like
from a colour picker’.

Option 3 Lastly, we give you the option to just write the colour you would like you can write anything from pastel blueto
more specific colour tone such as a HEX number or Pantone number.
